I remember the days when an extra $20 in my wallet would mean I can take my wife to be at the time on a date to our favorite Vietnamese restaurant for a bowl of pho for $4.95!
After our first child was born an extra $2000 a month would be more money than my full time job as a wedding DJ! And I would be able to stay home full time to help care for the baby. It would definitely change my life.
Fortunately I’ve come a long ways, but I always remember the time where I searched in between my couch for enough coins to buy Taco Bell’s 99 cents mega cheese chilito only to be denied service because I rode a bike up to the 24hour Drive thru window at 1:00 in the morning. (I didn’t have enough gas in my car to drive)
I still hear and see many struggles and misfortunes with those that would benefit highly if they can just earn an extra $2,000 a month or even just $500 a month.
